Glass-blowing experiences

In our glass-blowing experience evenings, we offer groups or individuals a demonstration of real glassblowing work. In addition to the demonstration, each participant can design and blow their own, unique item of glass. After annealing (approximately 24 hours), the items will be signed by the artists, and the participants get to keep them as mementos of the evening. You can bring your own food and drinks, or you can order them from our studio.

Contents

• Group size 1-20 persons
• Introduction to glass-blowing, the studio and the hot shop, plus glass-working demonstration (prices from 250 € per group of 1-9 persons)
• Demonstration usually takes about one hour, but the duration can be adjusted according to the group's schedule
• Designing and blowing your own unique item, prices from 165 € per person
• Unique items will take approximately 30 minutes per blower
• Alternatively, if there are more than 20 blowers or the schedule is otherwise tight, it's possible to blow e.g. decorative globes (prices from 50€ per blower)

We will gladly tell more about the experience evenings and will suggest a fitting schedule for your group's day at the studio. Do not hesitate to contact us!

You can also find the Finnish Glass Museum, an excellent place to visit, close to our studio. We're located next to the old workers' quarters, Hyttikortteli ("hot shop block"), where you can see some beautiful old turn-of-the-century houses.

Glass-blowing Gift Card

Gift your friend, relative or loved one an unforgettable experience! With the glass-blowing gift card, you get to design and blow your own glass item with our professional glass-blowers. After annealing (approximately 24 hours), the item will be signed, and it will be given to the blower as a memento of the experience.

Our studio offers the possibility to arrange your event - whether it's a bachelorette party, a birthday celebration, or just an evening out with friends or colleagues -, complete with catering. You can request a quote via email. Please let us know when you'd like to come, how many persons would be attending, and how many would-be glassblowers your group has, as well as whether you'd like the offer to include food and drink catering.
